Our aim is to offer a complete service in the pursuit of single source sheet metal manufacturing which in turn reduces customer lead times, retains a single control point and results in lower unit costs per finished part. We can put together a range of products from full working models, to merchandising and brand packaging. Alternatively we can assemble to an agreed point in the build to save you time and money. We even offer electro-mechanical assembly and sub-assembly with testing facilities. We can also manage supply routes utilising kanban stocking to offer our customers true flexibility.

Typical products we assemble for customers are point of display (POS) units, fully merchandised with electrical wiring and packaged to distribute, as well as medical cabinets with electronic locking systems to large scale enclosures with pre-wiring to customer specifications.

Case Example: Assembling Fitbit

Recently we have manufactured several different types of retail display units for Fitbit including one in particular involving a large amount of post production assembly. This particular POS display unit was required for a European chain of retailers. It was designed by our CAD Design Engineers, manufactured on our suite of CNC machines, and then assembled by our production team.

The assembly involved vinyl snap-on graphics, TV displays that also required insertion of memory cards for the video to play automatically, testing of the electronic components to guarantee they were working, integration of cabling and the installation of four demo model fitness wristbands. Once the units were assembled they were wrapped, boxed and delivered to their European destinations.

All of the assembly was taken care of with a dedicated team here at Constant, reducing external costs to multiple suppliers and contractors to produce a POS display.
