Manufacturing Service Station Totem POP Displays

We’ve seen a large increase in the use of DOOH style displays (Digital Out Of Home) in recent months. These types of displays allow a diverse range of applications and uses, from interactive and sensor driven advertising panels through to point of purchase (POP) stands where you can browse, select and pay for products in service station fast-food retailers, or a catalogue shop.

These white bodied, with green trim displays were just like those you find in service station food retailers. A simple, freestanding solution for browsing, selecting and purchasing fast-food items.

The unit had to be robust, to take the foot traffic and not look worn quickly. The body of the display incorporates chip and pin card terminal and receipt dispenser. The powder coat painted green inner body is slightly seen around the rim to give it a finishing detail.
Each unit contained detailed welding and fabrication methods from intricate bends, TIG welds and pemserted studs and nuts (see video) to make assembly as swift as possible. The leg design of the POP display is designed to bolt into the flooring, or be covered by a counter top housing/cabinet giving it maximum flexibility for our customer and it’s application.
