Leading precision sheet metal fabrication company, Constant Manufacturing, have launched a responsive designed website to meet on-the-go demand for information and illustrative content about its services and metal work capabilities. The new website at www.constantmanufacturing.co.uk not only boasts a responsive design layout that auto fits for mobile devices and desktops alike without loss of function or information, but now features a range of new technical and service content, bank of case studies, Trumpf and shop-floor videos, press hub and a quick quotation feature. Later this summer will see further launches including a one-of-a-kind interactive virtual factory tour dubbed ‘Digital Factory’ giving a unique overview of the 32,000ft2 manufacturing site.

Managing Director, Matt Garlick commented “The website was designed from the ground up to showcase ourselves to new customers as well as becoming a tool to retain and grow our existing relationships by clearly sign-posting our range of services, capabilities and demonstrating our end products with a collection of case studies. I’m excited for the launch of our Digital Factory in the coming weeks, as there really isn’t anything like it within our industry”.

Constant have seen an increase in mobile visitor’s month on month, now accounting for approximately a fifth of visitors, and appreciate that over 60%* of initial traffic to websites now come from smart phones and tablets. The responsive design route allowed Constant to build the website to deliver all the information in an appropriate format without loss of content, imagery or function. Larger digital devices such as iPads and tablets will be presented with the full website, giving optimum user experience of content and photography.

Matt Garlick continued, “I’m delighted that our new website is user friendly, reflects our position in the industry and marries up to our new Constant Group branding launched earlier this year. Having our own Digital Marketing department allowed us to take full control of delivering the project in-house; producing accurate technical content, comprehensive videos, and continually refresh the site to enhance the brand as well as drive the business forward.”

Constant Manufacturing’s new website hopes to develop existing business relationships as well as acquire new lines of enquiries. The site will be continually updated with feature rich case studies, and the launches of the Digital Factory and Constant’s Encyclopaedia.
