We manufacture a range of store displays from small flagship POS displays for leading department stores in London to 1,000s of metal shelving components in a supermarket’s racking system. Retail display units for local supermarkets to flagship New York department store installations.
Due to our manufacturing capabilities, powder coating plant and leading 24/7 punching and laser cutting machinery, we’re often contacted to do sub-contract sheet metal work for bespoke and batch production runs for store racking system companies, LED lighting solution companies and retail display designers.
New to the display marketplace, these are specific displays incorporating the new type of technological devices called Internet of Things (IoT) devices such as Smartphones or Fitness Activity trackers. These devices are usual ‘working’ versions on the display and have integrated touchscreen computers and displays to highlight the products benefits.
Point of Purchase (POP) units are typically the larger more complex units that hold the purchasable product such as the phone boxed up, accessory products, chewing gum stands and book displays. These units are typically larger than POS displays, or may have a POS unit designed within, to display the product as well as allow the end-user to ‘take’ a product from the integrated shelf racking to the purchase point such as checkout.
Point of Sale Displays (POS) are the design lead product display units you find across stores, such as Currys/PC World, Selfridges and ASDA, which display demo and working versions of products such as watches, mobile phones and laptops. At Constant we have a rich history in developing leading retail display units for UK and International high-street stores, supermarkets and department stores.
As Constant Manufacturing can produce large batch runs of components and parts, we’re often sought after to produce brackets and fittings for shelving and racking systems. Next time you’re in a supermarket, have a look at the metal shelving unit your tin of soup is on. It’s likely we may have manufactured the metal back piece, the metal shelf, the metal shelf bracket, or all three!
Take a look at how we redeveloped and manufactured a freestanding digital out of home (DOOH) display for a retail display customer. The DOOH stepped through every section of our manufacturing site from CAD Design and laser cutting, through to powder coating and assembly.
We were approached to take a 3D visualisation render of a retail POS display by our client and create it into reality. The end display unit was made completely in-house at Constant Manufacturing from brief to delivery.
